Message	Wish I saw this thread a little sooner. 1) Subs will do absolutely nothing if the enclosure isn't sealed (or ported/vented correctly). Try taking the sub out of a sealed enclosure, and the putting it back in, notice the difference. 2) Legacy sucks. 3) Kenwood sucks. 4) You can and will destroy your subs if you keep them "sealed" like they are right now. 5) Invest in something actually worth bumping with. This is entirely why the car audio industry is going downhill. When people buy piece of shit brands like Legacy and Kenwood, they contribute to the destruction of the car audio world. If you have a budget, go to someone with knowledge and ask them. Buy 1 expensive piece at a time, get the best you can get at that time. First, a nice ass headunit. Then component set. Then amplifier for the component set. Then amp and sub combo. Since the 300ZX is a hatchback, any sub will absolutely wang in it.
